Ever read a TinTin book? Well, if you are interested, you should read “Red Rackham’s Treasure.”
You have TinTin, who is a reporter and solves mysteries, and also he exposes gangsters and thugs.
Then there is Snowy, who is Tintin’s faithful dog. He helps free Tintin when he is captured and also sniffs things out.
Captain Haddock is your classic pirate historian. He eat sleeps and breathes pirates, and he is very interested in his ancestor, Sir Francis Haddock, who served in the king’s Navy in the 17th century.
Then you have Professor Calculus, who is an inventor and made the submarine shark to explore the sea, and there are Thompson and Thomson, the detectives who help Tintin investigate mysteries.
In this story, Tintin and the gang go searching for Red Rackham’s treasure, which Sir Francis Haddock stole from Red Rackham, but dropped into the sea.
My favorite part of the book is when Tintin and Snowy go driving in the shark submarine.
One of Tintin’s most memorable scenes in this book is when he went into the deep blue to find Red Rackham’s treasure and any other remains. One of Captain Haddock’s most memorable things he did was get drunk and give nonsense commands to Tintin and the rest of the gang.
I was attracted to this book by reading a different book in the school library and then I just fell in love with the series. I believe that if you are into comics, mystery, and fiction it is imperative that you read the Tintin series.
