Just when Christmas break was about over, a new puppy arrived at our house!

We named him Skywalker, because our old dog’s name was Chewy, which was short for Chewbacca, and our cat’s name is Solo, which stands for Han Solo. We stuck with the “Star Wars” theme.

On Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, our friends Nina and Zach came over. We all went to Bemis Park and when Walker got tired of walking, we put him in Nina’s sled.

While we pulled him, he tried to jump out of the sled, but he jumped right on the fluffy white snow. Sometimes when he sniffed the snow, he got snow on his nose and his nose was as white as cotton.

After fun in the snow, we had to head home because Walker was cold. He went inside with our mom while we stayed out and played relay races with the sleds and jumped around in the snow.

Nina got cold and went inside and then Jacob said, “Let’s go inside.” We all went inside and had hot cocoa with marshmallows. Walker was in his crate snoozing away after a day full of snow and fun.

Great story, Jacob and Charlotte!! Skywalker is so lucky that such great family adopted him. I’m sure he will love the Cape this summer!
    Keep up the good work!
