Lidia DiIeso is a fourth-grade teacher at the Cunniff School. She has been teaching at the Cunniff for five years, and six years altogether.

She has been interested in teaching since first grade and had a make-believe classroom under the stairs in her house. When she got older, she found that she liked working with kids and thought she would be good at teaching them.

The best thing about teaching, she said, is “when a student tries really hard and understands what I taught.”
