This year (as every one before) the Cunniff School is having a Halloween party.
The party will be Friday, Oct. 28, from 6-8 p.m. in the Cunniff cafetorium.
“I love it,” said Ms. Rono. “It’s cool scary fun. It’s a safe way to have fun.”
The Halloween party is run by the Cunniff PTO. Admission is free, and the PTO asks people to bring a canned good to donate for the Watertown food pantry.
Almost every teacher thinks it’s a great way of having fun in school.
Ms. Kale said it was a good idea.
“It sounds like some spooky fun,” she said.
Ms. Hager said, “Love it! Love the idea. I’m very excited. It’s a safe way to have fun.”
Ms. Tanguay said, “I’ve never been, but I heard great things about it.”
According to Lee Haley of the Cunniff PTO, there is going to be new games (which are a surprise) and some old ones. The scene for the haunted house will be a graveyard.
There is a no-weapons rule. (No plastic weapons either.)
There is also going to be a cakewalk, which is when you walk around a stage and if you land on a certain spot you get a cake or a box of cupcakes. The cake walk and haunted house will be $1 each. Pizza, drinks, and snacks will also be $1 each.
All the money is going to the PTO.
We hope people enjoy!
