What does everyone want to watch on Sunday, Feb. 4? The Super Bowl and the Puppy Bowl!

The Cunniff Kids News talked with people at Cunniff Elementary School in Watertown, Mass. Just as many people were excited to watch the puppies as the Patriots.

Marion Petkiewich in the main office said she was more excited to watch the Puppy Bowl because “because they are cute.” She said she was going to watch at home.

The Puppy Bowl is on Animal Planet at 3 p.m. and the Super Bowl is on NBS at 6:30 p.m.

Laureen Raftes, who runs the afterschool programs, said she is going to watch the Puppy Bowl at her house with awesome treats.

“They are cute and precious,” she said. “It’s great for the puppies to be seen by people and then they can get adopted.”

Third-grader Ella Barsotti chose the Puppy Bowl. Why? “It’s puppies,” she said.

Ellyn Nagle said she will be watching the Super Bowl, maybe at her parents house on the big-screen TV.

“I loved football when I was little,” she said.

Cyril, who is 19 and helps after school, said he was going to watch the Super Bowl at a friend’s house because he likes the Super Bowl better than the Puppy Bowl.

Third-grade teacher Debbie Munger said she was going to watch the Super Bowl at her house.

“I like it because the Pats are in it,” she said.
