What’s all the buzz about? The Watertown Education Foundation’s townwide Spelling Bee is back!

The Spelling Bee is open to Watertown students from grades 1 through 5. The event will be held in the Watertown Middle School auditorium on Sunday, Jan. 27, starting at noon.

The Spelling Bee is held to raise money for the Watertown Education Foundation.

Students compete in teams of three. Every team needs a team name.

“There might be a twist in the fifth-grade competition,” said Amy Donohue, president of the Watertown Education Foundation.

It costs $20 for a student or $60 for a team to enter. Anyone can buy a Spelling Bee T-shirt for $10 or enter the raffle to win an iPad mini.
